About Us! We are a small company based in Georgia, just North East of Atlanta. The Chief Executive Bird Brain, Terry Doeringer, has been making sauces, salsas, spices and snacks for family, friends and personal consumption for his entire adult life. After countless suggestions to package and sell these delicious concoctions and endless searching to find quality packaging that a small business could afford, the decision was made to build the Bird Brain's and Doeringer's Handcrafted brands.

In early 2003, the recipes that were mainly chicken scratch and memory were tested refined and finally written down! Once it was determined that the products could be consistently reproduced and all safety requirements were exceeded, the three hot sauces (Spiced Cayenne, American Eagle Red, and Moluccan Orange Fire) and the ever popular Burger Delicious and Dry Rub were born somewhere around September 2003. Sales were slow but a loyal customer base was expanding because the tastes were original, and down right good. "It's the Good Stuff!" The plan for 2004 was to build awareness and expand the product line to include other spice blends, Salsa,  jerky and roasted nuts. Because of packaging issues the nuts, jerky and salsa were only sold locally. As Christmas approached, plans were to made to increase inventory and market capabilities to capture a share of the shopping season. Wow, with Christmas still a few weeks away, inventory was almost depleted and the team needed to get into high gear to cover all of the orders. It was a blast! 2005 saw the release of "The Balm" enriched lip balm which out performs any other on the market and signals the further expansion of quality products. The Doeringer's team plans to spend their efforts on distribution and marketing in the first half of 2005. In 2006, we saw the introduction of private label products where a restaurant owner or gourmet shop can get their label on a great product.

Our Goal: Is to always make top quality products that out perform, or taste better than our mass produced competitors do while keeping prices competitive.

Price is always a concern, we try to stay fair, but quality is top priority. We may not be the cheapest but we will have the best value.
